kumkeo GmbH was founded in Hamburg in 2009 and is active throughout Germany. We serve well-known customers from the semiconductor, defence and automotive industries as well as the aerospace, laboratory and medical technology and renewable energy sectors.
At kumkeo, all signs point to growth. We currently employ around 80 permanent staff.
We are constantly investing in the measurable quality and safety of our services. Since March 2015, we have had a site in Hamburg specially equipped for the realisation of highly sensitive projects, which meets the requirements of the German Federal Office for Information Security. We employ 10 people in our Kiel office, who moved into a new office in Kiel-Wik at the end of 2023.
Since November 2024, we have been part of e.battery systems AG (e.bs), a leading provider of innovative battery systems and energy solutions. This strategic partnership enables us to combine our know-how in hardware and software development with the expertise of e.bs to develop pioneering technologies for sustainable energy systems. Together, we are focussing on synergies in order to further expand our market position and actively shape technological progress.
